We have now run three very successful camps, one at John XXIII College in Mt Claremont, and two at Peter Moyes in Mindarie. We see the skills badge programme working in four phases per level (dependent upon ability). We have now completed a First Step programme and phase 1 of a Level 1 academy at Peter Moyes. This academy programme will take 4 terms to complete. The cyclical system we run from Perth is:

Testing for the academies will take place during the camp (attendance for academy players for the purposes of assessment is free)
Camps are an opportunity to have fun whilst being introduced to the Core Skills of Brazilian soccer. This is also an opportunity for academy players to consolidate their skills from the previous phase in an intensive 12 hour programme.
Summer Camps 2012 will also involve trials for the State select team. This team will play inter-state and be offered the opportunity to travel to Brazil for the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
